Verizon Wireless today launched their all-new V CAST service, giving mobile phone users access to video clips, music videos and 3D games. Adding $15 a month to your bill will give you unlimited access to over 300 daily updated news, sports, weather and entertainment video clips. Application downloads for 3D games, premium short content and Get It Now applications will still run you anywhere from $2.49 to $2.99 per month or one time purchase fee of $8.99 to $9.99. Depending on how board you are, you could easily crank up your monthly fees.

V CAST is available to LG VX8000, Samsung a890 and UTStarcom CDM8940 owners, they run on the 3G EV-DO network which can also double as a 300-500 kilobits per second (kbps) BroadbandAccess connection for your laptop, about 6 times faster than 56K dialup.
