Yahoo Local Search sends to your Mobile

Yahoo has just added a new feature to their local search service allowing users to send search results from their PCs to their mobile phones via SMS. The new feature can be used when clicking the “local” tab in the top of Yahoo Search.

It can come in very handy if you are heading out somewhere and need to send the details to your mobile, after you search the business name a link will appear “Send to Mobile” in the results.

Google last October released a similar service that will allow US wireless users to query almost any type of information by simply sending a text-based message.
