Apple iPod Shuffle Backorder

Remember last year around this time when Apple couldn’t put up with the demand for the iPod minis? Well, it’s happened again with the iPod Shuffle. Customers have to put up with a 2 to 4 week waiting period for their iPod Shuffle to get shipped. They say that shipments are going to their online distributors and their participating retail stores.

I’m sure it’s all some sort of elaborate scheme to develop massive free hype at the consumer’s expense, but what can you do?
