New 5MP Camera from Minox: DC 5222

Minox has unveiled a new digital camera capable of taking pictures at a resolution of 5.2 megapixels. The camera is aimed at the casual point and shoot photographer with its slim pocket sized design (88.5mm x 24mm x 54.5mm). In addition, the camera has a 2.5″ LCD screen almost as big as the camera itself. Package this with 3x optical and 4x digital zoom and boom, the Minox DC 5222.

This camera is basically the same as the Rollei Prego dp5200 except it has a different body. Here we go again with the repackaging of other peoples technology, what happened to innovation?
