Time Warner is in talks with Sprint about offering wireless service over the sprint network. If a deal is stuck, Time Warner would be the only company to offer cable TV, high speed internet access, land based telephone, and wireless service to home consumers.

Trial testing of the service could begin as early as first quarter 2005 in Kansas City. Cellular calls would be handled on the Sprint network but all billing, accounting, and administrative work would be handled by Time Warner.

As large corporations continue to take over, the media becomes more and more what these companies shape it into. As these corporations continue to gobble up all the independent media outlets consumers, will become less and less informed of the real issues that we need to be concerned with.
