Rediff.com reports that a new Malware program is surfacing called MetalGear.a which is disguised as a Symbian version of the game Metal Gear Solid. User beware! Well, actually, you don’t need to fear it just yet as the code has only been seen in virus labs.

Cell phone company NTT DoCoMo was quick add virus scanning software by McAfee to their phones back in November when the Skull and Bones malware was on the loose. The MetalGear.a malware works similar to Skull and Bones where it changes your system icons and renders all applications useless. It even disables the ability for technicians to fix the problem rendering them unable to access the necessary system utilities.
