Nintendo DS transforms into PVP

Nintendo is not only in full throttle mode to tackle the entire mobile gaming market, but they want a piece of the portable media player market also. You can’t blame them either, with the Sony PSP coming out next year, it will make competition tough against such a slim and versatile device.

With the Nintendo DS multimedia adapter, you would be able to play MPEG-4 video and MP3 audio from a memory card that fits into the new multimedia adapter. A price for North America is unknown, but in February it will sell for 5,000 yen ($47.47) in Japan.
