NTT DoCoMo has finally released a handset comptible with international markets. The NEC N900iG is the first FOMA 3G handset to be fully functional in about 115 countries and regions world wide.
Going on sale Christmas day, the N900iG will work on DoCoMo’s World Wing 3G roaming service for i-mode packet communications. Video phone, SMS and voice call services will be available in all countries that offer GSM/GPRS or W-CDMA 3G networks and that have concluded a roaming agreement.
