Trend Micro Mobile Security Free for a limited time

Trend Micro is offering free trials of their new mobile device security and antivirus software. The program, TrendMicro Mobile Security, will provide antivirus and anti-spam against SMS messaging on mobile phones and PDAs, including protection against Symbos Skulls.A trojan which effects Series 60 phones and the Symbos Cabir.a, a worm that targets the same devices via Bluetooth.

Real-time and manual virus scanning will catch any type of virus as it attempts to be executed on your device. The anti-spam options will create approved sender lists, blocked sender lists and the ability to block numberless SMS messages. Instant updates can be received by synchronizing pattern files via a local PC or through your GPRS connection.

Mobile Security currently only supports Microsoft Windows Mobile for Smartphone 2003 but will expand to support
Symbian OS v7.0 and Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 PocketPC and SE by January 2005.
