TraxData TravelStudio All-in-One Device

Traxdata has just announced the TravelStudio, an all-in-one device with a built-in memory card reader, MP3 stereo, CD recorder, photo viewer and DVD player. This is the exact device that would have replaced my laptop earlier this year when I was traveling. It would have been nice to see a DVD recorder feature, but I guess that would be asking for a bit much. It will sell for 300 Euro as soon as it is available, coincidentally on my birthday (December 15th)!

See press release below.

I just got through a half dozen documentaries and videos that I’ve been meaning to get to for months now. How I did it? The Just Mobile UpStand and a bit of help from CineXplayer. Now that my iPad conveniently sits next to my monitor in seemingly perfect viewable angle, I can let those videos play as I work during the day.

The iPad has established itself as one of the coolest gadgets of the year, and is a must have if you love Apple. Its large display, crystal clear screen, and a multitude of features make it one of the most impressive tablets on the market. Check out Mobile Magazine’s iPad review here. However, like all iDevices, they do leave something to be desired in the area of durability.
