The suspected Skull and Bones virus that was found in a Symbian OS program called Extended Theme Manager has been confirmed to not be a virus at all. Symbian’s response to the suspected software is amusing, a spokesperson said; “We’re not entirely sure that this wasn’t a valid application, some people might like to look at skulls on their mobile phones. Some people like that sort of thing. There’s no accounting for people’s tastes on the Internet. We’re not sure at this point.”

Since the software does not replicate itself, it’s not a virus, but it will render your phone almost useless so it is quite malicious. F-Secure’s Mikko Hypponen confirmed that the image of a skull is placed where the program icon ought to be, disabling all programs and allowing you to only make calls, so you can atleast phone technical support to RMA your phone.
