Midtown Madness 3 Mobile edition is now out for Java and Brew based cell phones in the U.S., thanks to IN-FUSIO. It’s really nothing like the Xbox version, probably closer to the original Grand Theft Auto for PC, minus the running over pedestrians. DoJa and ExEn versions of the game are also being released through international carriers, it will be available on 100 different handsets worldwide, with a 3D textured version coming to Windows Mobile for Smartphones in the next few weeks.

You can play four different game-play modes using up to five different types of cars, including the MINI Cooper. The 16 tracks are based across three different regions of Europe, you can compete against a maximum of 4 AI drives. Unfortunately there is no head-to-head action, a lot of race games are coming out and lack the technology to play against live users, this is where Nintendo DS comes in.

This is the first of many games to be released by IN-FUSIO for the mobile platform; Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile, Age of Empires 2 Gold Edition, South Park, Jurassic Park III, Terminator, Golden Tee Golf, Rollerblade, Charmed, Shado Fighter, Kung Fu Legend, Bombjack and IF Racing are among the future titles to be released.
