Rim today made two announcements, the first; Spring PCS will be offering their BlackBerry 7750 mobile communicator for $549 USD on their nationwide PCS network; and Rogers Wireless is offering the BlackBerry 7100r with SureType keyboard technology for $399 CAD.

These things will cost ya a pretty penny. If you only really wan’t mobile e-mail, you may look at less expensive solutions, like the $99 ogo from AT& which also supports several instant messengers.

But if your main requirement is enterprise connectivity, with Exchange, Lotus Domino, corporate data and other enterprise systems, then you’re going to pay for it.
