Taipei City, Taiwan, is expected to offer Wi-Fi cover to over 2.6 million customers through-out their entire city by 2005. The wireless network consisting of 15 to 20,000 access points is expected to cost the city around $70 million US.
New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam and Jerusalem also have plans for city-wide Wi-Fi.
