Canon to offer Black-bodied Digital Rebel EOS 300D

Canon announced today they will offer a black version of the entry level Digital Rebel camera in the US. The 6.3 megapixel digital SLR will cost $999 and be available for a limited time, the kit will come with the enhanced digital EF-S 18-55mm zoom lens.

Canon hopes the black version will increase sales since it offers a more professional look compared to the current silver model.
