Intel Unveils 2MB L2 Cache, 2100 MHz M Chip

Intel today announced a new Centrino based mobile Pentium M 765 Processor. The 765 chip is 2.10Ghz and has 2MB of integrated, power-managed L2 cache. Running on an optimized 400MHz system bus, with Intel Speedstep Technology, you will get enhanced battery life and optimal performance from your system with this chip.

It will be available to system builders in 1,000 unit quantities for $637 USD, this explains the price chop Intel announced the other day.
