Roland has released the World’s first digital accordion, the V-Accordion FR-7 and FR-5, even the Polka king Frank Yankovic would be impressed with this one.

Roland has developed air pressure sensors into the instrument, as well as digital reeds to allow for realistic play, this is called PBM (Physical Behavior Modeling), that enables true sound reproduction and dynamic expression.

With 22 onboard Orchestral sounds and 7 Orchestral Bass sounds that can be mixed together with traditional accordion sounds. It can also play non-accordion sounds via MIDI interface.
