Mobile Phone Virus Spotted in Singapore

The first ever mobile phone virus has created a minor outbreak among Symbian OS users in Singapore and the Philippines. The Cabir worm manages to spread itself onto Bluetooth enabled handsets within a 30-metre range. As most virii, Cabir can be stopped by simply not accepting files from strangers, common sense, but many people still willingly open anything and everything coming at them.

Several people have claimed to have lost files on their handsets, but there is no real evidence showing damage resulting from the virus, the worst thing that can happen is your battery is drained faster because of the constant Bluetooth searching.
