Samsung Introduces Fastest Multimedia Card

Samsung Electronics said today they have released the fastest ever multimedia card (MMC). The MMC Plus is 20 times faster than current MMC cards on the market with transfer rates topping 52MB per second.

“The fast streaming of video clips are possible due to high-speed controllers embedded in our MMC. Unlike the existing MMC using 1-bit serial interface, our product allows transfers of 8 bits at a time,” a Samsung spokesman said.
