Casio to release five new digital cameras

Casio today announced five new digital cameras for the consumer market, the slim Casio Exilim Card EX-S100 has a 3.2-megapixel sensor, the Casio Exilim Pro EX-P700 is a 7.2-megapixel digital with 4x optical zoom and the Business Shot feature that provides automatic alignment for photos of text documents taken at an angle.
The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z50 and Exilim Zoom EX-Z55 cameras offer a thin body construction, large LCD screen enclosed in a sturdy aluminum body. Both are 5.3 megapixels and have a 23mm wide-angle lens.
The QV-R61 is the six megapixel flagship model with 3x optical zoom lens. It comes with a 2-inch LCD screen that as well as displaying shooting information and photographic effects, also has Icon Help, which uses pop-ups with explanations of the differenct icons. It also has Business Shot.
Set to be released in October of this year, the EX-P700 will sell for $599, the EX-Z50 and EX-Z55 for $399 and $499 and the EX-S100 for $399.
