iBoom Boombox System for the Apple iPod

I’m surprised that no one has come up with this earlier, Digital Lifestyle Outfitters will soon be putting out the 4 speaker, 20 watt per channel iBoom.

Designed for the iPod and iPod Mini, the boombox has an auxiliary port and adds an FM tuner and built in charger to the Apple accessory arsenal. If you want to hit the road, the unit takes 6 D cells. From the picture though, it looks like the iPod is left unprotected so the beach may not be your best move. Look for it in September.
