Full Mesh Networks has announced the release of a fully managed Wireless Intrusion Detection System. Network administrators can monitor 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth activity and shutdown any rogue WiFi device or wireless hacking attempt within minutes of detection.

“There are a lot of claims out there, but the ability to remotely shutdown rogue devices and wireless hackers in real time is a feature we haven’t seen anywhere else,” said Steve Shippa, co-founder of Full Mesh Networks. “Combine this with the comprehensive set of alerts, the fact we scan all 14 channels and the array of devices captured and you have a solution that is second to none.”
