The computer designed by C Data Solutions manages to run a full version of Linux on a Type II CompactFlash Card. The CompactFlash Computer (CFC) supports a wide variety of third-party CF peripheral cards, it can also work with RS232/485, Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB, 802.11, GSM, GPRS, GPS and just about any other standard out there. A combination power supply and bus expander module will allow an additional CF device, or an 8-slot CF card backplane for even more.

The CFC measures 37 x 43 x 5 mm and runs on a Freescale MPC5272 66MHz SoC processor estimated to deliver 2.1 million instructions per second.
