Samsung Discloses 2.2-inch Organic EL Panel

Samsung disclosed information for the first time today that they have developed a top-emission 2.2-inch organic EL panel for mobile phones with QVGA resolution of 320 x 240 ppi. Its fineness is 180 ppi with a brightness of 150cd/m2 and it consumes 150mW. Samsung has plans to start mass-production of the display in the third quarter of 2005.
