J&R through Amazon is selling the Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra 30GB MP3 Player for only $239, and the 40GB model for $279. The 60GB is still priced at $372.64 with no news on a price drop. That’s still some awesome savings on the pocket sized USB 2.0 device capable of running 14 hours on a single charge.

The Zen Xtra features an advanced EQ so you can customize your music playback with Equalizer presets or set your own using the 4-band custom equalizer. With Smart Volume Management you can adjust the playback volume of all the tracks on your playlist so they will remain at the same level without you reaching for the volume control between songs. Time Scaling speeds up or slows down an audio tracks with no distortion.
