Verizon offers OEL handset

Verizon Wireless has brought forth their first Organic Electro-Luminescent (OEL) display handset for US customers. The LG VX4600 is a flashy with a blue-backlit keypad and 65K internal LCD screen.

The VX4600 handset also features Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), two-way SMS text messaging, voice-activated dialing and Internet access via an Openwave UP 4.1 Web browser. Rich CMX MIDI sound and 36 unique ring-tones make the VX4600 a feast for the ears as well as the eyes.
