Olympus Japan has released the AZ-1 ultra-compact digital camera with a 3.0 megapixel sensor that uses a folded optics lens design. The system is used in the Minolta DiMAGE X series and the Sony DSC-T1, T11 designs. Only 0.8-inches thick and 3.7 x 2.6 inches length x height, the AZ-1 is about as small as the Sony DSC-T1.
