Panasonic 1GB SD available this May

Almost 2 years ago we announced the prototype of this device, the 1 GB SD card from Panasonic, today Matsushita Electric Industrial announced that it will launch the 1GB SD Memory Card in April to the Japanese market. Distribution to the rest of the world will follow in May. The expected price in the market is about Euro 499 in Germany and $499.99 in North America.
