Pixel Game Technologies at 3GSM World Congress launched multiplayer JIVE Battleship. JIVE is available on Microsoft Windows Mobile software for Smartphones and Pocket PCs, J2ME and Symbian OS enabled handsets.
Users can now play Battleship on-line against their friends, and enjoy game-services such as tournaments, ladders, statistics, invitations, match-up, chat and saved games on their mobile handsets. JIVE based game services are deployed commercially at over 13 operators worldwide.
“iFone’s classic games, integrated in the JIVE multiplayer service, bring a whole new dimension of game experience — Battleship is a game that almost everyone grew up with and loved, and there is nothing players like to do more than playing against their friends,” said Noam Wolf, Pixel Director of Mobile Sales, EMEA.
“Pixel’s cross platform games channels present a truly unique opportunity for us to reach new audiences,” said Morgan O’Rahilly, CEO at iFone. “We are very excited to provide millions of mobile game players the chance to play classic games such as Battleship.”
