Apple today unveiled its long anticipated Ipod Mini at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco. The new Ipod holds 4GB of music and comes in 5 different anodized aluminium colour cases (silver, blue, pink, green, gold). The price is set to retail at $250, which is only $50 less than its slightly bigger brother which holds 15GB (also available in 20GB and 40GB).

The Mini weights in at 3.6 ounces and the dimensions are 3.6 by 2.0 by 0.5 inches. The smaller form factor also calls for a smaller LCD screen which has been scaled down from 2 inches to 1.67 inches.

With the announcement, Apple also announced that they are jacking up their 10GB Ipod to a 15GB hard drive.
