SiPix today announced the StyleCam DV100, an incredibly small, affordable digital video, still camera and audio recorder for the consumer market. At only $129, the StyleCam DV100 is perfect for imaging enthusiasts, young adults and families, providing a compact, portable digital video camera for making movies, snapping digital pictures and recording audio at home, work, events or on the road. The StyleCam DV100 will be available in July online and via electronics and computer retail stores nationwide.

The fun, pocket-sized StyleCam DV100 combines a full-featured digital video camera with still capture capability providing crisp AVI video with sizes up to 640 x 480 at eight frames per second (fps) and vivid still pictures at up to 1.3 Mega Pixels. The video can also be captured at a resolution of 320 x 240 and 160 x 120 at 15 fps. Users can preview the video on the 1.6-inch color LCD screen or connect via the included A/V cable to a TV to view and share videos, pictures, and audio files. The camera features 2X digital zoom, USB connectivity, 8 Mega Bytes of flash memory, and mass storage. For even greater recording lengths or image capacity, the StyleCam DV100 includes a secure digital slot for memory expansion up to 256MB.

PhotoImpression is ideal for editing, retouching and adding special effects to photos. VideoImpression creates video clips from still photos and edits AVI video so users can share creations with friends and family.
