BenQ S830C GPRS Phone

BenQ today unveiled its first color mobile phone, the BenQ S830C. Aimed at fashionista, the dual-band feature-rich S830C is available in 4 eye-catching colors and features the world’s smallest external digital camera, 4096 reflective color display, dual LCD screens, MMS functionality, polyphonic ringers, and computer data sync.

A Multimedia Fashion Accessory

The S830C is BenQ’s newest customizable fashion accessory. It comes in four fashionable aluminum alloy exterior colors: Silver Star, Dreamy Purple, Blue Diamond and Pink Coral. An external LCD screen allows users to politely reject calls while the oversized internal LCD is mirror-finished. In addition to MMS, the S830C features Java and GPRS support for quick downloads of games, photos and information.

World’s Smallest External Camera

Each S830C mobile is equipped with an external digital camera (6 x 2 x 1.4 cm). The innovative camera is both lightweight and convenient, providing an adjustable swivel function and mirrored surface to assist in taking self-photos.

Keeping Track of Contacts

The S830C supports computer data sync, which allows users to share photos, ring tones and information between a PC through infrared or connection cable. Contact information can also be shared using compatible email software.

“Color screened mobiles and multimedia messaging services have paved their way into the mainstream,” said Chris Liang, manager of the Networking and Communications business group. “The S830C is designed with the fashionable in mind. It is completely customizable from the background display to the exciting exterior covers; even the LCD screen doubles as a mirror.”
