Taiwanese manufacturer MiTAC has recently announced the new Mio338 Plus, 400Mhz Pocket PC device. Faster and smaller then other 400Mhz Pocket PCs on the market, the Mio338 Plus is 121.7 mm x 76.8 mm x 11 mm and weighs only 118 g.

The Mio 338 Plus is powered by a 400 MHz Intel XScale processor, 64 MB of internal Flash ROM and 40MB of SDRam. The SD/MMC Card expansion slot is not SDIO compatible. The Mio338 also has a standard 3.5″ 16-bit reflective TFT colour display, 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

Powered by a Rechargeable Lithium Lon 900mAH Battery, MiTAC explains that the Mio 338 Plus is still capable of achieving 8 hours of run time and up to 14 days of standby time despite its size. The handheld can be charged with the included USB cradle.

The added ROM will be more convenient for you to save frequent-used data, save you an extra expense of buying memory, and you won’t have to worry about losing data due to an unexpected power shutdown.
