First International Digital Inc. has introduced the irock! 730i digital audio player. Honored for innovative design and engineering by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) with a CES 2003 Innovation Award, the irock! 730i MP3 player blends audio, picturesimages, lyrics and text to provide users with the ultimate digital audio experience.
“The irock! 730i is a key development in the convergence of media and sound as the portable digital device market evolves into mobile multimedia,” said Randy Cavaiani, Executive VP of Marketing and Sales for FID. “We are extremely proud to have been honored by the CEA, and we are confident that consumers will appreciate the chance to experience a fuller, more robust and exciting music experience through our patented MP3iI™ technology.”
Also featuring high speed USB downloading, 128MB of built-in memory and a SmartMedia Card (SMC) slot for an additional 128MB of memory (up to 9 hours of music), the irock! 730i offers skip-free playback of MP3i™, MP3, and WMA files. The 730i supports ID3 tags and its blue backlit LCD displays artist, title and album information.
Adding pictures, lyrics, and text to any MP3 file is a breeze with FID’s MP3i Creator™ software. This innovative program is included with the player so consumers can create interactive MP3is for immediate display on their 730i or PC. The 730i also includes the award-winning MusicMatch Jukebox software for the PC and is compatible with iTunes2 & iTunes3 Jukebox software for Mac users.
Further enhancing the functionality of the player, the 730i can capture up to 35 hours of voice recording using a built in microphone. Various equalization and repeat modes provide the customization that consumers desire. Powered by one AAA battery, the 730i offers 8 hours of continuous music playback.
The irock! 730i will be available in early March at RadioShack, CompUSA, Buy.com, www.myirock.com and other retailers.
