Aiptek Announces the Affordable Pocket DV2 4-in-1 Camcorder

Aiptek Inc. has released a new version of the Pocket DV. It measures only 3.3″ x 2.7″ x 1.6″. Featuring a 4 in 1 design, the DV2 functions as a Digital Video Recorder, Digital Voice Recorder, a High Resolution 1.3 mega-pixel Digital Camera, or even hook it to your PC to be used as a webcam. It offers a 1.4″ Color LCD Display, and 16 MB built in SDRAM. It supports expansion memory upto 512 MB CF card.

Upload images and video to your PC via USB interface. The video resolution is only 320×240 pixels (QVGA) and still images can be capture at 1280 x 1024 pixels (SXGA) or 640 x 480 pixels (VGA).

The Pocket DV2 comes with more then enough software to run all your applications. It includes a Digital Camera Manager, Microsoft NetMeeting, CyberLink PowerDirector Pro, CyberLink Media Show SE, CyberLink VideoLive Mail, Ulead Photo Express and Ulead Photo Explorer.

This is definatly not the top notch DV available but for $129 from bestbuy.com you cant go wrong.
