Casio Japan has announced the new Cassiopeia E-3000. The 400 MHz Intel XScale PXA250 processor powered device can run upto 30 hours on a large capacity battery, the standard battery is rated for 15 hours.

There was no information about the E-3000 being sold to north america and europe. Casio only sold the E-2000 in Japan, so we may never get to see this Pocket PC.

One nice feature is that the E-3000 will always have clear vivid picture regardless of indoor/outside light. This is because of the 16-bit color semi-transflective TFT technology used in the display.

An improvement from its predecessor, Casio added expansion slots for SD memory, MMC and Compact Flash Type II. I guess they wanted to increase compatability for addons and give users more options for various types of explansion devices (gps cards or 802.11b.
