AirPrime’s PC5230 Wireless PC Card enables laptop users to have always-on access to KTF’s high-speed, leading-edge 1xEV-DO 3G wireless network. The 1xEV-DO Wireless PC Card by AirPrime is the highest performing card on the market, achieving peak data rates of 2.4Mbps [which meets or exceeds the International Telecommunications Union’s (ITU) definition of 3G]. The release of this user-friendly product marks a significant achievement in the worldwide adoption of 3G networks and services. Using QUALCOMM’s MSM5500™ Mobile Station Modem (MSM™) chipset and system software for CDMA2000 1xEV-DO, the PC5230 Wireless PC card by AirPrime supports Korea’s PCS band and includes a breakthrough dual antenna scheme. The notably advanced antenna facilitates diversity operation and the highest 1xEV-DO data rates possible.
