Both PC Card series support global frequency bands at 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz. An innovative antenna design maximizes network coverage, data transfer speed and battery life of the notebook computer. Both series are commercially available to customers. The addition of the CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO PC cards bolsters AirPrime’s comprehensive suite of high-speed CDMA wireless data access solutions, including the family of AirPrime Helium 1x embedded modules and the Springboard module adapter for Handspring™ Visor™ handheld computers
