Toshiba DynaBook P5/S24PME Notebook PC Comes with Detachable Wireless Keyboard

The DynaBook P5/S24PME, due out July 13, is Toshiba’s latest notebook PC featuring a cordless optical mouse and a detachable wireless keyboard.

The new 2.40GHz Pentium 4 PC comes with a 16-inch SXGA TFT Fine SuperView LCD, 256MB (expandable to 1GB) of DDR SDRAM, a 40GB hard drive, and a high-speed CD-R/RW/DVD drive with buffer under-run errors prevention technology. It also features nVIDIA’s GeForce4 440Go high-performance graphics accelerator board and is ideally suited for 3D graphics and games.

The Windows XP Home Edition model measures 346.4×327.8x57mm and weighs 4.4kg. It can operate continuously for up to 2.5 hours with its standard lithium ion battery, when tested based on JEITA Battery Run Time Measurement Method 1.0. The product is open-priced. (R. Kuwako)
