ChatPC combines the latest in electronic technology with ease of use and powerful language capabilities. Built upon a new Casio EM-500 PocketPC computer, ChatPC offers a brilliant, color dynamic display along with both synthesized and digitized speech output. ChatPC is the product of a collaborative effort between Saltillo Corporation and Enkidu Research, Inc.

ChatPC has been designed so that it can easily be set up as a truly portable communication device. ChatPC contains two pre-programmed vocabulary sets. In addition, over 3,000 Mayer Johnson PCS symbols are included for customizing and creating your own pages.

ChatPC includes many customizing capabilities. The size and color of the keys can be customized. Messages can be spoken using the built-in DecTalk speech synthesizer, or you can record digitized messages. All customizing can either be performed on the ChatPC itself, or on a Windows computer using the included PC-Editor software.

The ruggedness and sound quality of ChatPC is enhanced by the included padded enclosure, specially designed for ChatPC, providing protective padding while also adding a high quality amplifier and speaker in one, compact package. A separate our carrying case is also available.
