Seiko Instruments and Ensure Technologies’ new Bluetooth watch will protect Bluetooth-enabled PCs, mobile phones and PDAs from unathorized access.

Forget user names, and forget passwords. The new Bluetooth watch, developed by Seiko Instruments and incorporating Ensure Technologies’ XyLoc technology, will offer hands-free computer security, enabling a user to access or prevent access to a device based on whether the user is within a certain distance from it or not.

Developed by SII and incorporating Ensure’s patented XyLoc wireless personalization and security technology, the SII Wrist Companion will automatically protect Bluetooth-enabled PCs, applications, PDAs and mobile phones from unauthorized access and simultaneously enable more personalized access to these devices by authorized users.
