iDini Bridges Applications to the Wireless World with Mobile Desktop Solution for Enterprises

iDini Corporation, the provider of Application Bridging(TM) software technology, today announced the availability of the Enterprise Edition of its Mobile Desktop solution. Mobile Desktop is the first solution to empower mobile professionals with the ability to fully interact with desktop applications and documents via wireless devices. Mobile Desktop supports all wireless devices, including PDAs and Web-enabled mobile phones, without requiring application reprogramming or hardware modifications.

“It’s not unusual to be in an off-site business meeting that requires access to critical documents in order to close a deal or ensure top-notch customer service,” said Steven Banks, service manager at Eastside Harley Davidson in Bellevue, WA. “iDini’s technology has enabled me to pull-up proposals via my Web-enabled phone, send them to a nearby fax and review the documents with my customer on the spot. This type of freedom and efficiency truly allows me to keep up with the speed of business.”

According to marketing research firm, Datamonitor, the global market for corporate mobile solutions will total $4.7 billion within the next five years. iDini has addressed this market trend with the creation of the Enterprise Edition of its Mobile Desktop solution which allows enterprises to quickly, easily and cost-effectively integrate robust, reliable wireless computing services with existing IT infrastructures.

“Mobile solutions that enable on-the-spot access to services, applications and information are playing a tremendous role in the efficiency and productivity of business enterprises,” said Chris Lin, CEO and founder of iDini. “Mobile Desktop bridges the gap between the mobile professional’s desktop environment and wireless devices, moving mobile services beyond casual Web browsing and m-commerce to true document processing capabilities.”
