Sharp Corporation launches the RW-A230 “Pen-Tablet” mobile personal computer, equipped with an 8.4-inch LCD, featuring slim and lightweight design to offer enhanced portability for business use.

A touch-sensitive control panel allows easy operation with fingertips and a stylus. Users can make entries in a comfortable standing posture on the streets as well as give presentations and business negotiations readily at their business partner’s. An optional expanded battery pack attached enables approximately six hours of continual operation, powerfully supporting sales activities and other mobile business transactions.

Moreover, mobile data communication can be done easily by connecting a mobile phone to the RW-A230, and an optional port replicator can be attached to link the sub note to the Internet in offices.
